Rebuild & Refresh Your Smile

Patients with severe damage to the hard and soft tissues of their mouths often require a combination of restorative and cosmetic procedures to restore the smile's function and appearance.

To repair broken, missing, or cracked teeth, correct malocclusions, address gum disease, or replace outdated dental work, patients may require full-mouth reconstruction. Dr. Cabianca performs full mouth reconstruction therapy for patients in the Trail, Castlegar, and Nelson area.

The Treatment Process

When you come in for your consultation, Dr. Cabianca will perform an intraoral exam and take images of your teeth, gums, and bone structure. He will also take impressions of your teeth, which he will use to create a realistic cast of your mouth. He will then mount the casts of your upper and lower jaw on an articulator that mimics the position of your jaw joints to diagnose any possible issues with the opening and closing of your mouth.

Next, our team will send these casts to a laboratory to create a diagnostic wax-up of how your teeth will look after the corrective and cosmetic procedures have been performed. Dr. Cabianca will use this wax-up as a blueprint for your treatment plan and make any adjustments necessary to help you achieve your smile restoration goals.

Benefits of Full Mouth Reconstruction

The major benefit of full mouth reconstruction is that you can combine whichever restorative and cosmetic procedures that you need to give you a fully functional and beautiful smile. Your treatment plan can include dental implants, dental crowns, dental bridges, root canals, teeth whitening, veneers, and more.

Full mouth reconstruction can improve your confidence and self-esteem by giving you a smile that you can be proud of and want to share with the world. Restoring function and structure to your mouth can improve your oral and overall health, as well as decrease headaches and neck pain that is related to TMJ disorder or misalignment issues. Patients often find it easier to speak and pronounce sounds after the corrective procedures have been performed.
